The Brooklyn-based theatre company, Woodshed Collective, will present the premiere of Caridad Svich's Twelve Ophelias, directed by Teddy Bergman, as a free event at McCarren Park Pool, one of the city's best-loved concert and performance venues, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, beginning performances Friday, July 11, at 8pm and opening Thursday, July 24 at 8pm. The McCarren Park Pool is located on Lorimer Street at Bayard Street.

'Monsterface' at the Irish Arts Center has had both a cast and date change.

The Audax Theatre Group will present Daniel Roberts' latest play, MONSTERFACE, directed by Alex Lippard. Performances will be at the Irish Arts Center, located at 553 West 51st Street, between 10th and 11th Avenues. Performances will begin on Thursday, May 29th, continuing through Saturday, June 28th. Opening night is scheduled for Saturday, May 31st.

South Coast Repertory ends the 2006-2007 Season with its first-ever production of William Shakespeare's Hamlet

Oscar-winner Marisa Tomei, Elizabeth Marvel and Anne Parisse will be the Three Sisters who long for Moscow in a star-studded staged reading of Anton Chekhov's The Three Sisters, which will be presented at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts' Bruno Walter Auditorium on May 22nd at 6 PM

Elizabeth Marvel and Bryon Jennings will enact scenes from Shakespeare's Antony and Cleopatra while Shakespearean expert Kristin Linklater will moderate the reading on September 26th
