The Smith Center for the Performing Arts welcomes guests to kick off the holiday season with a celebratory concert in the bedecked Symphony Park. On Sunday, Dec. 8 at 5 p.m., Cabaret Jazz resident and beloved Las Vegas entertainer, Clint Holmes, will launch the season's festivities with a performance that will include special guests from the Las Vegas community.

Coming off her role as Christine in Phantom - The Las Vegas Spectacular at the Venetian Hotel, Kristen Hertzenberg steps beyond her theatre background to sing the music that has inspired her behind the scenes in her new show KRISTEN HERTZENBERG - BEYOND THE STAGE. The show debuted to a sold-out house at the Art Square Theatre in July and will take place again on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 10:30pm at the Foundation Room atop Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Alongside a band of world-class musicians including two of the stars of Million Dollar Quartet, Kristen brings her own flavor to her favorite Blues, Country, Folk, Rock, and R&B songs.

The Las Vegas Philharmonic will bring back and expand upon a beloved tradition in July when it presents a new Independence Day celebration called 4th with the Phil at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. The celebration today, July 4th will include a family fun day held in Symphony Park from 4PM, a Pops concert held in Reynolds Hall at 7:30PM and a fireworks display at 9PM over the park, located in downtown Las Vegas. It will be the first Fourth of July concert in three years for the orchestra and marks its 15th birthday. Tickets go on sale on Monday, May 13th.

'It's a dream come true,' says American Native Renee Knapp, the German-Australian Phantom of the Opera Star, who attended a performance of the Vegas production, which will close its doors forever on September 2nd, 'I'm so excited to finally having seen 'Phantom' at the incredible Venetian.' Fortenberry has recorded several solo albums in the past, but for Hertzenberg, this is the first.

Phantom - The Las Vegas Spectacular celebrated its fifth anniversary on Thursday, June 23 with a champagne toast on stage led by 'The Phantom' himself, Anthony Crivello. The Las Vegas production of the worldwide favorite is enjoying enduring success that few other Las Vegas productions have achieved and proves that 'Broadway' can and does flourish in Las Vegas.
