The 19th Annual Cabaret Convention will be held Oct. 29-Nov. 1 at Jazz at Lincoln Center.

Last night, Liza Minnelli decided to treat co-workers Johnny Rodgers, Jim Caruso, Cortes Alexander and Tiger Martina to an evening of...cabaret! The five-some took time off from rehearsals to cheer musical cohort Billy Stritch and Klea Blackhurst, who dazzled the crowd with an evening of Hoagy Carmichael songs at the Metropolitan Room.

A wave of cocktail culture from the West Coast is about to pour through the Metropolitan Room's doors as Terese Genecco, Russ Lorenson and Corky Hale come to town, while Baby Jane Dexter and a number of other local notables like Klea Blackhurst and Billy Stritch stand up for the Eastern seaboard.

On October 4th, 2008 at 8PM The 2008 Mason Street Warehouse season will present Broadway performer Klea Blackhurst as she brings her one-woman show, 'Everthing The Traffic Will Allow, the Songs and Sass of Ethel Merman' to Saugatuck for one night only.

On Wednesday, September 10th, New York's favorite five-part harmony guys, Uptown Express, offered a live performance at New York's Barnes & Nobel Lincoln Sqaure location. The program featured musical numbers featured on Uptown Express' new CD, 'Walk Like a Man.'

This August Barnes and Noble features many performance by Broadway favorites including Patti LuPone and the cast of Gypsy.

Gypsy stars Patti LuPone, Boyd Gaines and Laura Benanti will appear at the Lincoln Triangle Barnes and Noble in August.
