MR. MAGOO'S CHRISTMAS CAROL, benefitting the The Actors Fund, was held last night, December 15, 2014 at 7:30 pm at The Gerald W. Lynch Theatre at John Jay College. Klea Blackhurst (Radio Gals), Janet Dacal (Wonderland, In the Heights) and Tony Award nominee Tony Sheldon (Priscilla Queen of the Desert) were a part of the star studded cast that featured Tony Award nominee Douglas Sills (The Scarlet Pimpernel, Little Shop of Horrors) in the title role.

The producers of the Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical Jersey Boys are pleased to announce that Quinn VanAntwerp has re-joined the Broadway cast tonight, September 23, 2014 in the role of 'Bob Gaudio.' He assumes the role from Drew Gehling who departed the production following Sunday's performance.

Stellar vocalists and instrumentalists deliver a fine and worthy tribute to John Kander and Fred Ebb.

Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly will lead the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) and an incredible cast of singers and dancers in a production of works by the award-winning, four-decade songwriting duo John Kander and Fred Ebb on Thursday, May 15 at 8 p.m. at The Music Center at Strathmore, Friday, May 16 at 8 p.m., Saturday, May 17 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, May 18 at 3 p.m. at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. The evening will include a series of showstoppers, from Cabaret, Chicago, New York, New York, Kiss of the Spider Woman and more.

On the eve of Valentine's Day, Kara Lindsay, currently starring in Disney's 'Newsies' on Broadway, was joined on-stage by her husband Kevin Massey (Memphis), her college best friend Kirsten Scott (Big Fish), Santino Fontana ('Frozen'), his girlfriend Jessica Hershberg (Cinderella), Drew Gehling (Jersey Boys), his wife Sara Jean Ford (The Phantom of the Opera), Patrick Cummings (Happiness), his girlfriend, Alessa Neeck (Cinderella), Thea Brooks (Dirty Dancing), and musical director Benjamin Rauhala (Hit List) in a celebration of Broadway romance, both on and off-stage. The evening will also feature bluegrass trio 'Shubert Alley,' featuring Kevin Massey, his brother Patrick Massey, and Jamison Scott (Spider-Man). Also featured in the concert were Aaron Albano (Newsies), Stephen Joshua Thompson, Antwayn Hopper (Hair), and Devin Ilaw (Les Miserables). Overcash & Change 2, an evening featuring the work of musical theatre composer Drew Overcash will be presented Feb. 24 at The Highline Ballroom.

According to The New York Times, South Korean Broadway producer Kim Byeong-seok of entertainment company CJ E&M, who helped produce the two productions on Broadway, is interested in bringing Tony winner 'KINKY' and the recently closed 'FISH' abroad.

The Broadway musical BIG FISH will play its final performance today, December 29, 2013, after 34 previews and 98 regular performances at the Neil Simon Theatre (250 West 52 Street). BIG FISH began performances on Thursday, September 5, 2013, and opened on Sunday, October 6, 2013.
