Dressed to the nines-despite forecasts of thunderstorms and a tornado watch that hung over the region-theater people from throughout Tennessee gathered at Belmont University's Bill and Carole Troutt Theatre on Sunday night for the 2013 First Night Honors.
It's supposed to be 108 degrees in the Nashville area by week's end, which means stepping outside will likely leave you melted, quite literally and figuratively.
Now working on the role of 'Martha' in Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, one of those roles every actress longs for, her resume also includes First Night Award-winning turns as Sally Bowles in Cabaret and as Madame de Tourvel in Les Liaisons Dangereuses.
