freeFall Theatre's 2014/15 season, AN ESCAPE FROM REALITY, opens with Stephen Sondheim's classic musical take on what happens after happily ever after. INTO THE WOODS is one of freeFall's top-requested shows and is the second Sondheim musical produced at the theatre since the inaugural production of THE FROGS in 2010. Artistic Director Eric Davis has created a new and exciting staging that will delight and intrigue audiences of all ages with its imaginative storytelling.

It's a fine line between a biting familial dramedy and diving head first into the realm of back biting reality TV. One lends itself to insightful views on the nature of parent/child dynamics and the other has an overweight little girl spewing forth "Oh no she di'in't" like a circus act to make the viewers feel better and superior about themselves. The New York Times reports today that Robin Williams may be returning to the Great White Way in Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, an Iraq War play - a Pulitzer Prize finalist - written by Rajiv Joseph that last had a critically successful run in Los Angeles. The production could open as early as the Spring of 2011 assuming that a deal can be reached with Williams and producers Robyn Goodman and Kevin McCollum.
