Dublin Theatre Festival kicks off tomorrow at The New Theatre with 'Playboyz' by Martin Sharry. Playboyz is a re-imagining of JM Synge's Playboy of the Western World.

AMC announced today that AMC VISIONARIES: ROBERT KIRKMAN'S SECRET HISTORY OF COMICS will premiere as a two-night television event starting on Sunday, November 12th at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT, followed by a second episode onMonday, November 13th at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT, in its regular time slot.

Kevin Smith Kirkwood, currently appearing on Broadway in the Tony Award-winning musical Kinky Boots, will bring CLASSIC WHITNEY: ALIVE! back to Joe's Pub at The Public later this season after another smash, sold-out show earlier this summer.

Miss Mona runs the Chicken Ranch, a brothel with a long history in a small Texas town. The locals have a good relationship with the institution, and Mona is respected in the community. The Sheriff, Ed Earl Dodd, also looks out for the Chicken Ranch due to his past with Miss Mona. However, when pious reporter Melvin Thorpe exposes the brothel, outside interests want it shut down, putting the governor in a tough spot.  Performances August 10-12, 2017 at 8pm and August 13th at 3:00 pm. Alternative Press is reporting that the cast of Kinky Boots is currently running an online auction of collectibles and fan experiences to raise money for Eric L. Summers who is currently battling cancer. All proceeds will go towards his medical bills.

Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today that Tony Award winner Billy Porter (whose recent studio album: Billy Porter Presents The Soul of Richard Rodgers debuted at #2 on the iTunes R&B charts) and Tony Award nominee Stark Sands (who appears alongside Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks in Spielberg's upcoming The Papers) will return to Kinky Boots this fall.

AMC has announced from the Television Critics Association (TCA) Press Tour that it will be producing a year-round documentary series AMC VISIONARIES, partnering with prolific artists to unveil the untold stories and fascinating histories of pop culture genres from the masters themselves.

Creating and starring in a solo show in which the late Whitney Houston, an undeniable legend with a complicated legacy, 'comes down from heaven and is reincarnated' in your body is a swing for the fences. But Kevin Smith Kirkwood does just that in CLASSIC WHITNEY: ALIVE!, which mostly sets the darkness of the singer's later years aside to focus on Whitney's 'good times.'

National Geographic announced that the 20-episode fourth season of the weekly, hourlong science-driven talk show series STARTALK WITH NEIL DEGRASSE TYSON will premiere this October. The series also just picked up its third Emmy(R) nomination for Outstanding Informational Series or Special.
