After an 18-month run on Broadway, Tony Award winner Jessie Mueller will say goodbye to the biomusical BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING STORY tonight.

National Corporate Theatre Fund (NCTF) and Chairman James S. Turley will lead a celebration to support American theatre at the annual Chairman's Awards Gala on Monday, April 13th at The Pierre New York (2 East 61st Street at Fifth Avenue) at 6:30pm. The Chairman's Awards Gala supports the creation of theatrical works and arts education at theatres across America.

Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing announced today that Award-winning Canadian actress Chilina Kennedy, who made her Broadway debut as 'Mary Magdalene' in Jesus Christ Superstar, has nabbed the title role in Beautiful-The Carole King Musical, the smash hit musical about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter. Kennedy begins performances on March 7, 2015, succeeding Tony Award-winner Jessie Mueller, who will play her final performance in Beautiful on March 6 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street).

BroadwayWorld has just learned that there will be a 25th Anniversary International Production of JEKYLL AND HYDE next year, and Broadway veterans Anthony Warlow, Jackie Burns, and Teal Wicks are currently leading a reading of the new production.

Ghostlight Records has announced the launch of the new series 'Ghostlight Shines On...' presenting exclusive audio commentary on some of its major recordings from Broadway and beyond. Her co-stars, Tony Award-nominees Anika Larsen and Jarrod Spector, who play legendary songwriting couple Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann, will remain in the show until September 2015.
