Written by James Sherman, this courageous and challenging journey of one man in search of answers runs from August 3 through August 21 in the Gompertz Theatre. TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, one of the most popular and best-loved stories in American literature, returns to the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park for the first time in more than 20 years in a thought-provoking and visually exciting new production. Christopher Sergel's adaptation of Harper Lee's coming-of-age story will be introduced to a new generation on the Playhouse's Robert S. Marx Theatre stage from March 5 through April 3, 2016. The innovative production of the classic story, which is both timeless and timely, features the Playhouse debut of Obie Award-winning director and Associate Artist Eric Ting.

Befriending the prison's chaplain he sets about using his unexpected time on earth in search of answers. Appropriate for ages 13 & up.

Nathan Louis Jackson, playwright in residence for KC Repertory, wrote the thought-provoking look at a prisoner on death roll that cheats death at his execution, only to have to relive waiting to die.
