Following the great success of the inaugural Born Free Tour in 2012, legendary Queen guitarist Brian May and singing sensation Kerry Ellis are teaming up again for a second Born Free Tour with a further 10 shows all performed by candlelight at venues around the UK and Ireland.

The producing team behind The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Arts Theatre) and The Children of Eden Gala Concert (Prince of Wales Theatre), Aria Entertainment and Knockhardy Productions present a concert revival of Lucy Simon and Marsha Norman's three times Tony Award winning musical The Secret Garden.

A Body To Die[t] For will run 17th February | Etcetera Theatre | 3pm & 6:30pm and 27th February | Landor Theatre | 7:30p. By writers Tim Anfilogoff and Alan Whittaker, the production is directed by Matthew Gould, with musical director Benjamin Holder.

Theatre Bench in association with Soho Theatre and Ros Povey present the World Premiere of new musical LIFT, which will run in the Main House at Soho Theatre now through Sunday 24 February 2013. The show stars Julie Atherton as 'French Teacher', Nikki Davis-Jones as 'Secretary', Cynthia Erivo as 'Lap Dancer', Jonny Fines as 'Ballet Dancer', Luke Kempner as 'Bright Young Thing', Ellie Kirk as 'Athletic and Wearing a Thong', George Maguire as 'Busker' and Robbie Towns as 'Tall, Dark and Handsome'. The Special Edition of 'Scott Alan Live,' which was recorded April 30th at Birdland, is now available both physically and digitially via iTunes, Amazon and CDbaby.

Joining the cast of The Secret Garden at The King's Head is veteran comedian and actor Freddie Davies who is recreating the role of Ben Weatherstaff for this concert staging having appeared in the original R.S.C and West-End production. The concert version will play 10 February - 17 March, 2013. Press night is 11 February at 7:15pm.

Casting has been announced for the 20th Anniversary Rent in Concert tour, opening 25 April 2013 in Manchester.

Today in 1963, Oliver! opened at Broadway's Imperial Theatre, where it ran for 774 performances. Oliver! is a British musical, with script, music and lyrics by Lionel Bart. The musical is based upon the novel Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens. It premiered in the West End in 1960, enjoying a long run, a successful Broadway production in 1963 and further tours and revivals. It was made into a musical film in 1968. Major London revivals played from 1994-1998 and again from 2008-2011.
