? At an exclusive event last night for subscribers, donors and members of the press, Tony Award-winning Trinity Repertory Company, under the leadership of Richard L. Bready Artistic Director Curt Columbus announced their 2016-2017 season: Ghosts of the Past, Dreams of the Future.
HONKY by Greg Kalleres received its World Premiere at NYC's Award winning Theatre Company Urban Stages in the spring of 2013. The Urban Stages production, directed by Luke Harlan, received raves, and the play was subsequently remounted later that year. Due to its NY success, HONKY was produced at San Diego Rep and was filmed by PBS and OnStage in America and will receive a landmark presentation tomorrow, November 6, at 10PM (www.pbs.org/onstage-in-america/honky/home/).

Winner of the 2015 Ruth Kurtzman Benefit Series MAC Award, WINTER RHYTHMS benefits Urban Stages' acclaimed Outreach Program, which brings more than 200 free "arts in education" presentations to libraries and schools throughout the five boroughs. This year's event features 20 shows and more than 100 artists.

Salinger, of Durango High School, last month was named Outstanding Actress at the 2015 Bobby G Awards at the Denver Center. He advanced to the national competition, which culminated Monday in a performance on a Broadway stage for The Jimmy Awards in New York City. In this episode, Salinger describes one of the most profound experiences of his trip - going all the way to New York to meet one of Colorado's most successful theatrical alums: Kent Gash, Director of the New Studio on Broadway at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts (and graduate of Denver's George Washington High School). 'He gave us an amazing talk, and I recorded much of it on my phone,' Salinger said. 'I just want to listen to it again and again and write some of the things that he said down because it was so inspirational.'
