Last night, March 12, Robert Redford hosted the first-ever New York benefit celebrating The Sundance Institute Theatre Program at The Bowery Hotel. Participants included Sundance Institute Theatre Program alumni Denis O'Hare (Performance of An Iliad, at New York Theatre Workshop), Lisa Peterson Scott Frankel, Jeanine Tesori, Georgi James and Christine Ebersole, who recreated 'Little Edie Beale' from Grey Gardens. Sundance Channel is putting a new group of designers through fashion rehab in season two of the critically-acclaimed series, 'All On The Line with Joe Zee.'
The ribbon will be supported by a provocative celebrity PSA campaign entitled 'COME TOGETHER.' The campaign, which will air on MTV channels worldwide in November and December, will feature a montage of celebrities wearing the double ribbon reciting lines about how, where, and when they like to wear it. Celebrities featured in the campaign include: Ke$ha, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cyndi Lauper, Estelle, Skylar Grey, Cheyenne Jackson, and Rose McGowan. View it below!

The play is based on a case study by Facing History and Ourselves and presented in conjunction with the Choosing to Participate exhibition at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library through November 30th, 2011. Ostracized is an insightful look at a group of teens and how their dynamic changes and forces one girl to be bullied and ostracized from her circle of friends. A must see for students, parents, and teachers!

This year's ball resembled 'traditional Viennese balls' and featured debutantes and classical music. In addition, the ball will open with a fashion show by Diane Von Furstenberg, Calvin Klein and Kenneth Cole. The Life Ball will be followed by an AIDS conference in Vienna, which will run from July 18 to July 23.
