'Picture a down-at-their-heels theatrical family led by a drunken womanizer married to a wacky fading beauty,' says director Michael Leeds. 'Toss in a deaf grandmother determined to get 'back on the boards' and a daughter who's vowed never to act again. They band together for one last shot at stardom, performing a riotous mash up of Cyrano and Private Lives for a TV weatherman they've mistaken for Frank Capra! That's the plot of Moon Over Buffalo!'

MAN OF LA MANCHA Extends at Dramaworks Through 7/28

Due to critical acclaim and over whelming box office demand, Man of La Mancha, the beloved musical that follows the adventures of the eternally optimistic, Don Quixote, will extend its run through Sunday, July 28th at Palm Beach Dramaworks' Don & Ann Brown Theatre (201 Clematis Street). Theatre-goers should call/visit the box office or log onto the theatre's website for the schedule of additional performances.

William Michals to Lead Palm Beach Dramaworks' MAN OF LA MANCHA Concert, 7/10-21

Man of La Mancha, the beloved musical that follows the adventures of the eternally optimistic, Don Quixote, launches the summer season atPalm Beach Dramaworks on Wednesday July 10 (8PM), the first of two shows to be presented in concert as part of the Musical Theatre Masters Series. Man of La Mancha plays a limited engagement through July 21 at the Don & Ann Brown Theatre (201 Clematis Street). The production is directed by Clive Cholerton, with musical direction by Caryl Fantel. Stephen Sondheim's Company follows from August 7 through August 18.

Parade Productions to Present THE LAST SCHWARTZ, Jan 2014

Parade Productions will present Deborah Zoe Laufer's The Last Schwartz from January 31st through February 23rd at the Mizner Park Cultural Arts Center's Studio Theatre. The play received unanimously glowing reviews when it debuted at Florida Stage in 2002.

Mad Cat Theatre Company Presents THE HAMLET DOG AND PONY SHOW, 7/26-8/12

Wrapping up Mad Cat Theatre Company's 12th season, is yet another World Premiere, this time a play written by Jessica Farr and Paul Tei. THE HAMLET DOG AND PONY SHOW is a deconstruction of Shakespeare's tragedy, HAMLET. Their take not only allots the age old question "To be or not to be" but contemplates whether or not the question is even still valid in today's hypermodern society. Through the use of music, multimedia and puppetry, The Hamlet Dog and Pony Show, directed by Paul Tei, is a tragedy of errors that remains in dialogue with the dead in order to build a method for which to go on living.
