NOTTINGHAM PLAYHOUSE has unveiled its autumn and winter season for 2018, following rave reviews for its spring and summer line-up.

HBOAccess has selected three directors for their 2018 Directing Fellowship.  The new fellows will participate in a weeklong workshop before mounting their production this July. 

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts hosts more than 120 outstanding theater students from colleges and universities across the nation as part of the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF), which runs April 9-14, 2018 in multiple locations throughout the Center. The Center also announced the national awardees for the KCACTF.

As the hit West End show Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, directed by Sam Mendes, approaches its second anniversary, producers today announced the cast that will take it into its third year. Alongside Jonathan Slinger as Willy Wonka will be Kraig Thornber (Grandpa George), Lara Denning (Mrs Bucket) and Mark Oxtoby (Jerry), among other new names. Originating company members Ross Dawes and Derek Hagen will take over the roles of Mr Salt and Mr Bucket respectively.

Today, HBO announced the launch of the HBOAccess Writing Fellowship which will begin accepting applications on March 4, 2015.

Radio Disney and Disney Channel audiences have voted and teen sister pop singers and actresses Chloe and Halle Bailey from Atlanta, Georgia have been named the season five winner of Radio Disney's 'N.B.T.' (Next BIG Thing), it was announced this evening by Radio Disney on-air personality Jake Whetter, on stage at the 'N.B.T.' Finale event in Los Angeles, California. Performances and special guest appearances included Hollywood Records recording artist and 'N.B.T.' season three finalist Coco Jones, 'N.B.T.' season four winner Shealeigh, and 'Austin & Ally' stars Laura Marano and Ross Lynch along with his band R5. Highlights from the finale event will air during the Disney Channel premiere of 'Disney's A Christmas Carol' on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 14 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT). As winner of Radio Disney's 'N.B.T.,' Chloe and Halle will record a new single to be released by Disney Music Group, which they will perform on the hit Disney Channel series 'Austin & Ally.'

NBCUniversal announced the winners among the finalists at its Seventh Annual "Short Cuts" Festival grand finale screening on October 24 at the Directors Guild of America (DGA) Theater in Los Angeles. James Cundall, Lunchbox Theatrical Productions chief executive, recently presented British actors Sara Poyzer (Donna Sheridan), Charlotte Wakefield (Sophie Sheridan), Rosie Heath (Ali), Tasha Taylor Johnson (Lisa) and Kelly Edwards to the local media. These lead actors, together with some 30 cast members, will headline MAMMA MIA! at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Main Theatre starting January 24, 2012.
