Ghostlight Records has announced release of HIMSELF AND NORA - the 2016 Off-Broadway Cast Recording, Live from the Minetta Lane Theatre, NYC - a new musical with book, music, and lyrics by Jonathan Brielle.

Himself and Nora, the new musical, will end its engagement at Minetta Lane Theatre (18 Minetta Lane) tonight, August 6th. With book, music, and lyrics by Jonathan Brielle and directed by Michael Bush, Himself and Nora will have played 26 previews and 71 performances at the time of closing.

Cole Burden (The Bridges of Madison County national tour, Les Miserables national tour) will join the cast of Himself and Nora, the new musical currently running at the Minetta Lane Theater, starting tonight, July 26, 2016. Cole will assume the role of 'Priest' and others.

Josh Walden is a seasoned Broadway hoofer. He's sung and danced in the revivals of 42nd Street, A Chorus Line, La Cage aux Folles and Ragtime. But it's in the new Off-Broadway musical Cagney where Walden gets to really show off his versatility and range. He changes characters and costumes faster than he taps out a syncopated rhythm-and he even executes that flawlessly. He's part of Cagney's expert six-member cast in this musical biography of Hollywood tough guy and dance man James Cagney.

The latter was the state of this reviewer as we set sail on the S.S. American for a rollicking "Bon Voyage" in Goodspeed Musicals' opening show of the 2016 season, ANYTHING GOES. This production is truly "De-Lovely" and lives up to the standard and quality that audiences are used to experiencing in the intimate, beautiful setting that is the Goodspeed Opera House.
