'BRIDGES' Tour Star Cole Burden Joins HIMSELF AND NORA Off-Broadway Tonight

Cole Burden (The Bridges of Madison County national tour, Les Miserables national tour) will join the cast of Himself and Nora, the new musical currently running at the Minetta Lane Theater, starting tonight, July 26, 2016. Cole will assume the role of "Priest" and others.

Cole Burden was most recently seen on stage in the national tour of The Bridges of Madison County (Robert u/s Performed). He also appeared in the national tour ofLes Miserables. Off-Broadway: Applause (Encores!), Bonnie and Clyde (NYMF). Regional:Murder Ballad (Studio Theatre), The Secret Garden (Capital Rep), Grey Gardens (Philadelphia Theatre Company), Legally Blonde (Marriott Lincolnshire), The War Dept. (Eugene O'Neill Center). Film/TV: Beautiful Creatures, "30 Rock," "As The World Turns." Cole is a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace University.

Cole joins a cast that includes Matt Bogart (Jersey Boys) as James Joyce, Whitney Bashor (The Bridges of Madison County) as Nora Barnacle, Michael McCormick(Chaplin), Gary Troy ("Boardwalk Empire"), Lianne Marie Dobbs (A Tree Grows In Brooklyn), and Victoria Huston-Elem (The Addams Family Nat'l Tour).

Himself and Nora has a book, music, and lyrics by Jonathan Brielle. The production is directed by Michael Bush with musical direction by James Sampliner, produced byCherie King and executive produced by R. Erin Craig.

It was one of the world's great romances. She was the country girl from Galway whose burning sexuality and acerbic wit inspired the genius of James Joyce. Himself and Nora is a passionate musical that reveals the private life of one of modern literature's most controversial figures and illustrates the untold story of Joyce's lifelong love and muse Nora.

Developmental productions of Himself and Nora were produced by the Old Globe Theatre; Hamilton Stage and the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF). Additional developmental work was done with the James Joyce Center in Dublin, Ireland.

Himself and Norahas choreography by Kelli Barclay, set design by Paul Tate DePoo III, costume design by Amy Clark, lighting design by Jason Lyons, and sound design byKeith Caggiano. Casting is by Geoff Josselson, general management by DR Theatrical Management, production management by Production Core and production stage management by CJ LaRoche.

Himself and Nora plays at the Minetta Lane Theatre, (18 Minetta Lane, between Sixth Avenue and MacDougal Street).
