Sebastian Maniscalco first catapulted into the national spotlight with a 20-city tour for his one-hour Comedy Central DVD, "Special Sebastian Live!," and will now make his way back to the Comix At Foxwoods stage from Thursday, Nov. 14 to Saturday, Nov. 16. He will hit the stage at 8 p.m. nightly before performing a doubleheader to close things out with a 10:30 p.m. show.

A Parallelogram celebrated its opening night last night, Sunday, July 21, at the Mark Taper Forum. The play, by Bruce Norris, is directed by Anna D. Shapiro. Celebrities in attendance last night included: James Franco, Kevin Bacon, Kyra Sedgwick, Bobby Cannavale, Rose Byrne, Michael Chernus, Josh Radnor, Jeff Goldblum, Tony Goldwyn, Jason Butler Harner, Marg Helgenberger, T.R. TNT has ordered a pilot for L.A. Noir, a new drama series from executive producers Frank Darabont (The Walking Dead, The Shawshank Redemption), Michael De Luca (The Social Network, Moneyball) and Elliot Webb (Tall Time Tales). The project from TNT Original Productions is based on John Buntin's critically acclaimed book L.A. Noir: The Struggle for the Soul of America's Most Seductive City, which chronicles the epic battle between Los Angeles Police Chief William Parker and mobster Mickey Cohen. Alissa Phillips (Moneyball) of Michael De Luca Productions serves as co-executive producer. Darabont is set to write and direct the pilot.

TNT has ordered a pilot for Chelsea General (working title), a new medical drama series from award-winning producer David E. Kelley (Ally McBeal, Chicago Hope) and practicing neurosurgeon and CNN chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta, M.D. Kelley and Dr. Gupta will executive-produce. Kelley wrote the pilot script for the series, which is based on Gupta's upcoming novel Monday Mornings.

A native of Chicago, IL, Sebastian Maniscalco grew up with comedy in his blood. After earning a degree in Corporate Organizational Communications from Northern Illinois University, Sebastian realized his passion for stand-up comedy and moved out to Los Angeles. While working as a waiter at a Four Seasons in Beverly Hills, Sebastian spent every free night performing at local clubs, bowling alleys and bars.

Yesterday, June 23, attends the ABC 'My Generation' Rock the Roof event hosted by Rolling Stone Magazine at the Andaz Hotel in West Hollywood, California. The series will follow a group of high school students in their senior year and then jump to 10 years after their graduation. The show is on ABC at 8pm on Thursdays.
