The Raandesk Gallery of Art invites you to Behind the Curtain, a new exhibition of paintings by Jason Bryant and Kevin Cyr. The two artists, who met while working as assistants at Kehinde Wiley Studios, are making a name for themselves with street-smart oil paintings with a hyper-real and polished tone (and, in one instance, the cover of Dinosaur Jr.'s Green Mind). The show runs through March 12.

The 2008 National Arts Awards were held in New York City on October 6th, 2008. The Lifetime Achievement Award was given to Dame Julie Andrews.
