Stage and screen star Taye Diggs will make his directorial debut with a private industry reading of Thoughts of a Colored Man on a Day When the Sun Set Too Early, today and tomorrow, November 16 & 17, 2017 at Ripley-Grier in New York City. Written and conceived by Keenan Scott II, Thoughts of a Colored Man is a powerful and moving play featuring music by Madison McFerrin and choreography by Jenny Parsinen. Royal Family Productions, a non-profit theatre company known for its innovative productions and development of new original work, concludes its week-long workshop of Ayodele Casel's DIARY OF A TAP DANCER V.4, directed by Torya Beard at the Royal Family Performing Arts Space (145 West 46th Street, 3rd Floor) with a benefit performance tonight, November 16, hosted by Daphne Rubin-Vega.

As previously announced, celebrated star of stage and screen Taye Diggs and Jenny Parsinen (Allegiance) will choreograph the benefit workshop production of Keenan Scott II's powerful and moving play thoughts of a COLORED MAN on a day when the sun set too early, from February 4-6, 2017 at Royal Family Performing Arts Space (145 West 46th Street, 3rd Floor).

Royal Family Productions Presents a Reading of Keenan Scott II's THOUGHTS OF A COLORED MAN

 Royal Family Productions (Chris Henry, Artistic Director) will present a stage reading of Keenan Scott II's Thoughts of a COLORED MAN on a day when the sun set too early,  directed by Chris Henry  as part of its developmental series.  The reading will take place on Saturday, December 3 at 2pm at the Royal Family Performing Arts Space (145 West 46th Street, 3rd Floor).
