Writer Jonathan Harvey and Pet Shop Boys Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe are to present the world premiere of a new cabaret show at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe.

In March, BroadwayHD, the premier streaming service for live theater, will be adding a number of standout performances to their service including the West End production of family favorite Hetty Feather directed by the Olivier award-nominated Sally Cookson.  March will also mark a celebration of the legendary Irish playwright Oscar Wilde with four of his plays filmed from West End performances that made up Classic Spring's Oscar Wilde Season. Finally, BroadwayHD's line-up will be rounded out with a special St. Patrick's Day playlist debuting on March 13th featuring some of the most exciting Riverdance performances from around the globe.

Ovation, America's only arts network, is warming up the winter months with a slate of premium artistic and cultural programming that includes Travel Man, The Pacific: In the Wake of Captain Cook with Sam Neill, the two-part original Ovation special Destination France: The Birthplace of Luxury, and the return of its classic movie strand Red Carpet Cinema every Friday night.

Ovation, America's only arts network, has acquired the U.S. broadcast and digital rights for five series from All3Media. The deal includes Travel Man, which will debut on Ovation's AVOD service JOURNY and also air on Ovation's linear channel and on-demand service Ovation NOW. Other titles for Ovation TV and Ovation NOW include Stealing Van Gogh (1 x 60'), The KAWS Effect (1 x 30'), and the arts-themed reality series Fake or Fortune (14 x 60'), Antiques to the Rescue (3 x 60'). The announcement was made today by Scott Woodward, EVP Programming, Ovation.

The Importance of Being Earnest, the fourth and final show in Classic Spring's year-long celebration of Oscar Wilde at the Vaudeville Theatre, closes next Saturday, 20 October.

Classic Spring is delighted to announce that Fiona Button, Pippa Nixon and Stella Gonet will join the cast of Michael Fentiman's The Importance of Being Earnest.

Classic Spring announces Olivier-Award winner Sophie Thompson as Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest, from 20 July at the Vaudeville theatre. Directed by Michael Fentiman, the production also stars Jeremy Swift in the role of Reverend Chasuble and Sinead Matthews as Gwendolyn Fairfax.

Also starring, in the role of Mrs. Cheveley, is Frances Barber. Directed by Jonathan Church, An Ideal Husband will play at the Vaudeville Theatre 20 April to 14 July 2018, before opening the Theatre Royal Bath Summer Season on 18 July to 4 August 2018.

As Kathy Burke's Lady Windermere's Fan, starring Jennifer Saunders and Samantha Spiro, plays to packed houses, Classic Spring is delighted to announce that Guy Chambers' new folk opera, The Selfish Giant, will be co-produced by Royal & Derngate, Northampton, and directed by multi-award-winning director Bill Buckhurst. The limited run of lightly-staged performances will run at Royal & Derngate 4 April - 7 April, before moving to the Vaudeville from 10 - 14 April. Jonathan Church will direct An Ideal Husband, the third production in the year-long celebration of Oscar Wilde at the Vaudeville Theatre. An Ideal Husband will play at the Vaudeville Theatre 20 April to 14 July 2018, before opening the Theatre Royal Bath Summer Season on 18 July to 4 August 2018.

Classic Spring announces full casting for Kathy Burke's forthcoming production of Lady Windermere's Fan, which started rehearsals this week.
