According to Deadline.com, NBC has announced that actors James Murray and Patrick Heusinger will be starring in their upcoming futuristic new drama entitled 'Beautiful People'.

The plot thickens as casting director Tim Trull (Colin Hanlon) finds himself face to face with 'Compass-ition' creator Nolan Grigsby (Wade McCollum). Meanwhile, actress Penny Reilly (Kate Wetherhead) struggles to follow her own dating rules when faced with attractive prospects. The long list of guest stars include Mary Testa, Jeremy Jordan, Stephen Pasquale, Matt Cavenaugh, Gaelen Gilliland, Jonathan Freeman and Van Hughes.

Following a successful 23rd Annual Festival of New Musicals held in NYC Oct. 27-28. The National Alliance for Musical Theatre held a party at Southern Hospitality. This year's Festival attaracted over 650 people representing 300 organizations from around the country including Europe attending the eight new musicals that were presented.
