The New York Civil Liberties Union (the New York State affiliate of the ACLU) today announced a star-studded lineup of award-winning performers for 'Broadway Stands Up for Freedom,' its annual benefit show, to be held Monday, July 22 at the NYU Skirball Center for Performing Arts.

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Andrew Levine, Executive Director), present a one-night only benefit concert celebrating up and coming musical theatre writers, with the NEO 9 on Monday, May 20, 2013 at The York Theatre. Ghostlight Records will release the Original Cast Recording of the acclaimed epic musical GIANTonline and in stores on May 21, 2013. Performance rights for GIANT will be licensed through R&H Theatricals, a division of Rodgers & Hammerstein, an Imagem Company. Applications for performance are not yet being accepted and will be announced at a later date. In the meantime all inquiries should be directed to Theatre@rnh.com. The 58th Annual Drama Desk took place last night, May 19th at Town Hall (123 W. 43rd Street), and miserable rain didn't stop the festivities.
