Today, Wednesday 19 November, the cast of the multi Tony award-winning musical Urinetown, directed by Jamie Lloyd shows support for the UN recognized event: World Toilet Day.

Renowned comedian Phill Jupitus (Never Mind The Buzzc*cks, QI, Hairspray, Monty Python's Spamalot) will join the cast of Jamie Lloyd's ground breaking, splash hit production of Urinetown The Musical from 1 December 2014.

The splash hit and multi Tony award-winning musical Urinetown directed by Jamie Lloyd has announced a special charity performance gala to support Water.org on Monday 20 October in London. In conjunction with Urinetown's West End transfer, the gala will introduce this new collaboration with Water.org to raise awareness of the global water crisis.

It's taken 15 years since opening on Broadway, but URINETOWN, directed by Jamie Lloyd, has finally hit London with quite a splash. This dystopian satire has sell-out crowds cheering at the stylish St James Theatre in Victoria.

Urinetown, the musical, runs at The St James Theatre until 3 May 2014, with press night on 11 March 2014. Urinetown stars Marc Elliott (EastEnders/The History Boys/Tape) as Mr. McQueen, Richard Fleeshman (Ghost/Legally Blonde/Coronation Street) as Bobby Strong, Simon Paisley Day (Sherlock/Musketeers/Timon Of Athens) as Caldwell B. Cladwell, Jenna Russell (Merrily We Roll Along/Sunday In The Park With George/Guys And Dolls) as Penelope Pennywise, Jonathan Slinger (Hamlet/The Tempest/Yes, Prime Minister) as Officer Lockstock and is directed by Jamie Lloyd (The Commitments, Macbeth, The Hothouse, The Pride) at the St James Theatre.
