Metropolita(i)n, the bilingual, socio-political musical revue with songs & sketches that explore the similarities and differences between New York City /Paris and their people begins Friday, November 19th through Monday, November 22nd at 7pm at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, 407 West 42nd Street.

Tony Award winning star of A CHORUS LINE is regarded internationally as one of Broadway's foremost dancing and singing leading ladies. She began this summer performing in the Adelaide Cabaret Festival and has just completed her first tour of Australia with MY MUSICAL COMEDY LIFE, before taking it to NY and a sold out crowd at the Laurie Beechman Theater.

In light of the recent string of suicides among young gay men in our country, The Laurie Beechman Theatre is humbled to present It Gets Better: Broadway Supports The Trevor Project. The 6pm concert will host some of Broadway's leading voices, lending their support to this vital organization that provides suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth.

After an absence of three years, critically acclaimed jazz singer, Martha Lorin, returns to the NY nightclub scene. Martha has appeared worldwide form Japan to New York to Los Angeles and Colorado to the Chicago jazz circuit.

Carly Ozard will be 'Queen For A Day', paying homage to her musical idol, and sharing historic and unknown facts about Mercury's public and personal lifestyle. Ms. Ozard new cabaret show will showcase popular songs from Queen's extensive repertoire, as well as perform solo work written by Freddie Mercury without Queen. Rare musical material and collaborations will be featured in this tribute to the rock tenor who flaunted his four-octave range, charmed his audiences, and lived his 45 years to the fullest. Popular cabaret singer Francesca Amari brings her critically acclaimed show 'Secretly Square: Guilty Pleasure Songs,' to The Arthur Newman Theatre at the Joslyn Center in Palm Desert on Saturday, November 20th at 7 PM. Ms Amari's show is presented by Les Michaels as part of his Life Is A Cabaret Concert Series which began there in July and will continue through December but word is it will continue in 2011 due to it's overwhelming success.

Theatre Memphis' first offering of the 2010-11 season on its Next Stage will be Edward Albee's 1966 Pulitzer Prize-winning drama A Delicate Balance, September 24 - October 10, 2010.

The Mabel Mercer Foundation has announced the performers for The 21st New York Cabaret Convention. Among the performers for this celebration of cabaret will be Elaine Stritch and Christine Ebersole.
