MTV announced international sensation and five-time 2012 VMA nominee, Rihanna will heat up the 'MTV Video Music Awards' stage with a performance like never before, LIVE from STAPLES Center tonight, September 6 at 8:00pm ET/PT.

Z2 Entertainment will present Soul Rebels Brass Band w/ The Revivalists at the Fox Theatre tonight, September 6th.

With the show just a few days away, MTV announced new additions to the performance line-up for the '2012 MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS including Rihanna kicking off the VMAs with A$AP Rocky, Nicki Minaj will perform as a surprise guest with a previously announced VMA artist, 2 Chainz taking the VMA stage for the first time ever, and Lil Wayne with the worldwide premiere performance of his brand new single.

According to TMZ, Randy Jackson has confirmed reports he will not be a judge on the next season of FOX's AMERICAN IDOL. However he will remain on the show in the role of a 'mentor.'

Following LAIKA and Focus' groundbreaking Academy Award-nominated animated feature Coraline, ParaNorman is only the second stop-motion animated feature to be made in 3D.
