The multi-talented and multi-tasking entertainer and entrepreneur - whose accolades run the range from fashion guru to executive producer of a hit reality franchise - will be bringing her hosting A-game to the 19th annual awards show being held in Frankfurt's historic Festhalle. The "2012 MTV EMA" will broadcast live on Sunday, 11th November at 9PM CET* on MTV channels around the world; in the U.S., the two-hour show will premiere on MTV2 at 11:00 PM ET/PT Sunday, November 11th.

Let the '2012 MTV EMA' festivities begin! MTV today unveiled the nominees for its annual celebration of the biggest musical artists from all over the globe, with reigning pop princesses Rihanna and Taylor Swift topping the list with six and five nods each, respectively.

Warner/Chappell Music's Chairman and CEO, Cameron Strang, today announced the appointment of Jon Platt to the newly created position of President, Creative - North America, Warner/Chappell Music. Platt will oversee Warner/Chappell's A&R activities in North America, including in Los Angeles, New York and Nashville, as well as playing a key role in shaping the company strategy. Platt, who previously served as President of North America, Creative, for EMI Music Publishing, will report to Strang and will be based in Los Angeles.

In their first co-producing endeavor, HERE and the Hip-Hop Theater Festival in association with Collective Consciousness Theatre present the world premiere of How to Break, a new play fueled by human beat-boxing, breaking, popping and locking, linguistic flow and multimedia graffiti art. This production will play a limited engagement at HERE from October 18 - November 4, with Official Opening set for Tuesday, October 23 at 7:00pm.
