As first reported in The Hollywood Reporter, actress Mary Elizabeth Ellis will be returning to the Fox comedy NEW GIRL in a multi-arc storyline. The actress will reprise her role of Caroline, ex-girlfriend of Nick's (Jake Johnson) in the season's three remaining episodes.
