Last night, Wednesday April 7, New York City Mayor, Michael Bloomberg, took in a production of HAIR in addition to center stage when he joined the Tribe in the post-show dance party. BroadwayWorld was there for the photo op!

New York City saw a different side of its typically conservative Mayor, Michael Bloomberg, when he donned extensions and hippie garb on stage with Broadway's cast of Hair at the Inner Circle fundraiser dinner on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at The Hilton Hotel. It was also announced that a completely new ‘Tribe' will debut in the Broadway production on Tuesday evening, March 9th.

The Original Cast of the current Broadway revival of HAIR played their final performance last night on Broadway and we were there! The new Tribe will debut on Tuesday, March 9, at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre, as the current cast takes the production to the West End, opening April 14 at London's Gilegud Theatre.
