New York City saw a different side of its typically conservative Mayor, Michael Bloomberg, when he donned extensions and hippie garb on stage with Broadway's cast of Hair at the Inner Circle fundraiser dinner on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at The Hilton Hotel. Also joining the cast on stage in celebration were Jersey Shore cast members Snooki and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino. Watch the clips of the performances below!

Bloomberg's appearance at the event, for which he sang and danced alongside the Broadway Tribe, marked his eighth year at the annual event, which raises money for a number of causes including the Coalition for the Homeless, the Museum of the City of New York and the American Heart Association. Past performances by Bloomberg have included numbers with the Broadway casts of The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins and Spamalot.

Bloomberg, Snooki, and "The Situation" all took part in the skit, "Mair: 3 Terms of Peace and Music" with the Broadway HAIR tribe. At the event, Bloomberg announced a new initiative for the city: "Bette Midler will help us plant one million pot plants in the next 10 years." He also announced, "I've already brought crime down at frat parties," he said. "Peeing in the bushes has dropped 15%."
