Justin Audibert directs Debbie Korley as the brave, bold and charismatic Beowulf in Chris Thorpe's searing new version of this epic masterpiece opening in October at the Unicorn Theatre.

Annie Siddons takes a look at the time in her life when she found herself - performance maker, part Greek, part Egyptian, full Londoner - as a single mum living in the nuclear family haven of curtain-twitching Twickenham, the most married place in London.

As part of the Finborough Theatre's celebrations of Canada's 150th birthday, a new production commissioned by the Finborough Theatre of the European premiere of Footprints On The Moon by one of Canada's most acclaimed playwrights, Maureen Hunter, runs at the Finborough Theatre, playing Sunday and Monday evenings and Tuesday matinees from Sunday, 28 May 2017.

Natalie Simpson (Royal Shakespeare Company's recent productions of King Lear, Hamlet and Cymbeline) joins an eleven-strong cast to play Duchess Rosaura alongside the previously announced Stephen Boxer in THE CARDINAL at Southwark Playhouse.

Snow in Midsummer is a modern retelling of an ancient Chinese drama, which marks the start of an ambitious cultural project translating Eastern classics into English, and Shakespeare into Chinese. The original 13th century play, by Guan Hanqing, bears all the hallmarks of traditional Chinese drama, with sung arias, mime and acrobatic feats. The RSC's new version, written by Frances Ya-Chu Cowhig, is transported to a contemporary setting.

New work by Inua Ellams, Ya?l Farber, DC Moore, Lindsey Ferrentino and Nina Raine is announced today by Rufus Norris, Director of the National Theatre. Four world premieres and two European premieres are further announced as forthcoming productions for the National Theatre in 2017.  

The critically acclaimed production of Terence Rattigan's epic wartime romance Flare Path, visits Birmingham Repertory Theatre from Monday 25 - Sat 30 April.

Daniel Fraser plays Teddy Graham and Audrey Palmer plasy Mrs Oakes.  Daniel played Gregory Cromwell in the acclaimed RSC productions of Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies in Stratford, London and on Broadway.  He also appeared in Chariots of Fire at Hampstead Theatre and in the West End and starred in the Sci-Fi films Frequencies and Lab Rats and the thriller Scar Tissue.  Check out a first look below!

Simon Stokes, Artistic Director of Theatre Royal Plymouth, today announces an exciting season of new plays at the Theatre Royal Plymouth.

The highly acclaimed 2015 national tour of Terence Rattigan's FLARE PATH, directed by Justin Audibert, has been extended due to popular demand. The 2016 tour will open on 27 January at the Connaught Theatre in Worthing. The cast will be led by Graham Seed as Squadron Leader Swanson, Lynden Edwards as Peter Kyle and Hedydd Dylan as Patricia Graham.
