The electrifying new docudrama Nirbhaya will make its North American premiere at The Lynn Redgrave Theater this spring. Written and directed by internationally -acclaimed Yael Faber (Mies Julie), in collaboration with an extraordinary cast and creative team from India, Nirbhaya had its world premiere at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August 2013.

Vocalist Kathy Kosins is an ASCAP award winning songwriter and record producer who has won the hearts of critics and fans around the globe with her eclectic musical palette that expands the rich history of jazz. In a multimedia concert salute The Ladies of Cool Kathy brings to life the extraordinary artistry of the great singers of 40s and 50s 'cool,' Anita O'Day, June Christy, Chris Connor and Julie London to the Harris Center for the Arts audiences. This concert includes presentation of vintage and rarely seen photographs and historical facts about each of these ladies, plus stories of the songs themselves, with photographs of the songwriters who created them.

Sultry chanteuse Chrysta Bell will perform in San Francisco and Los Angeles at concerts presented by David Lynch this May. She begins on Thursday, May 9 at Bimbos 365 Club (1025 Columbus Ave, San Francisco) and then lands Sunday, May 12 in Los Angeles in a show sponsored by 89.9 KCRW at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever (6000 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles). Centenary Stage Company will be presenting its annual JANUARY JAZZ FEST in the Sitnik Theatre on Saturday, January 12th, 19th, and 26th.
