The Boca Raton Theatre Guild Presents The Rodgers & Hammerstein Classic 'Carousel'

Adapted for the American stage from Ferenc Molnar's 1909 play, Liliom, Carousel was one of the first musicals to contain a tragic plot. It is also unique among Rodgers and Hammerstein's works in that it does not have an overture, but begins with the Carousel Waltz. Often cited by Richard Rodgers as his favorite musical, the play also introduced such classics as You'll Never Walk Alone, June is Bustin' Out All Over, and If I Loved You. Time Magazine named it the best musical of the 20th Century.
