Denise Lee Onstage and Fair Park Dallas have set the stage for the first-ever Dallas Cabaret Festival, July 28-30, 2016.

 The Saint Sebastian Players (SSP) continue their 35th season with the late Shakespeare work The Tempest. Performances begin during Chicago Theatre Week with a preview February 18 and continue February 19-March 13 at St. Bonaventure, 1625 W. Diversey (enter on Marshfield), Chicago.

OKLAHOMA!, the musical that originated the state song and revolutionized musical theatre, comes sweeping down the plain to the Civic Center Music Hall this summer. Running tonight, June 23 through 27, Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma's production brings together a cast and creative team with Oklahoma roots. The show is the first of four Lyric productions at the Civic Center in 2015.

Dallas Theater Center will close its 2014-2015 season with Kate Hamill's fresh and witty adaptation of Sense and Sensibility, Jane Austen's classic romantic novel. Sense and Sensibility is directed by Sarah Rasmussen and begins with previews on Thursday, April 23 with a Pay-What-You-Can performance and runs through Sunday, May 24. Dallas Theater Center's hit production of the holiday classic A Christmas Carol returns to the Wyly Theatre this November. DTC's Director of New Play Development Lee Trull makes his DTC directorial debut with this tale that follows a miserly old man on a magical journey of hope and redemption, choreographed by Jeremy Dumont and with music direction by Home By Hovercraft's Shawn Magill.

The brewers at Samuel Adams today proudly announce the latest in a line of talented and imaginative LongShot American Homebrew Contest winners, at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver craft beer's most celebrated gathering.
