Photo Flash: Remembering Anne Jackson

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Anne Jackson, who was nominated for a Tony in 1956 for MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT and who enjoyed a long career with her husband, Eli Wallach, died Tuesday, April 12, in Manhattan. She was 90.

Mary Louise Wilson Named Guest of Honor at 34th Annual Elliot Norton Awards

Tony and Drama Desk Award-winning actress Mary Louise Wilson will be the Guest of Honor at the 34th annual Elliot Norton Awards on Monday, May 23, 2016 at 7 PM, at Boston's Citi Performing Arts Center Shubert Theatre.  The ceremony will feature nominated musical performances, the awarding of The Elliot Norton Prize for Sustained Excellence, a post-ceremony party, and surprise appearances and performances.  Tickets for the much anticipated evening are on sale at the Citi Center Box Office, at www.citicenter.org or by calling (866) 348-9738.

The Dramatists Guild Fund presented their Madge Evans and Sidney Kingsley Award to actress Audra McDonald and playwright Craig Lucas just last night. SHE LOVES ME to Play Foothill Music Theatre This February

In response to a request for more opera, Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater has added five broadcasts from English National Opera (ENO Screen) to its winter/spring calendar. ENO Screen's live cinema broadcasts are as distinctive as ENO's live work in the theatre, creating a unique cinematic experience for audiences across the globe. Multiple HD cameras provide unusual angles and close-up views of the action on stage and in the orchestra pit, giving a true cinematic experience for viewers. The five opera broadcasts at WHAT are:
