The Boston Pops has been winning the affection of audiences in Boston and beyond for 131 seasons with programs like The Golden Age of Broadway and featured performers Marin Mazzie, Jason Danieley, Laura Osnes, and Justin Hopkins. Keith Lockhart was on the podium and Lidiya Yankovskaya was Guest Chorus Conductor with the Tanglewood Festival Chorus.

New casting has been announced for the Hollywood Bowl's production of A Chorus Line, which won the Tony Award for Best Musical.  The additional cast members announced are Mario Lopez as Zach, Sarah Bowden as Cassie Ferguson, Krysta Rodriguez as Diana Morales, and Courtney Lopez as Kristine Ulrich.

Chicago's camp theater troupe Hell in a Handbag scores with the premiere of Charles Busch's send up of nun films, THE DIVINE SISTER.

Nashville's summer theater season continues its fast clip with tonight's opening of the blockbuster musical Thoroughly Modern Millie at The Larry Keeton Theatre in Donelson. Running through June 25, the tap-happy musical features Keeton favorite Stella London in the title role of Millie Delmount, with Austin Jeffrey Smith and Tyler Samuel playing Jimmy and Miss Dorothy, respectively.

Center Theatre Group will host a special event featuring a screening of "Grey Gardens," the 1975 classic documentary, followed by a conversation with Betty Buckley, Rachel York and Michael Wilson - the stars and director of the upcoming Ahmanson Theatre production of the Tony Award-nominated "Grey Gardens" The Musical.

Netflix, the world's leading Internet TV network, announced today that award-winning actress Julie Andrews will star in Julie's Greenroom, a new preschool show from The Jim Henson Company that features an all-new puppet cast of kids learning about the performing arts. The series will be available exclusively to Netflix members globally in early 2017.
