Richmond Triangle Players celebrates the end of the year in style with An Intimate New Year's Eve with Emily Skinner, on Saturday, December 31. 

If variety is the spice of life, Kenny Solms has tasted great success. Touted in his hometown newspaper as 'Philadelphia's funniest person,' he began his career in New York, where he teamed up with New York University classmate Gail Parent to create material for Leonard Sillman's last Broadway revue New Faces, and sketches for New York's famed Upstairs at the Downstairs. His collaboration with Ms. Parent climaxed with their co-creation of the now legendary Emmy award winning The Carol Burnett Show.

Hosted by Sirius XM Radio Star Seth Rudetsky whom the New York Times dubbed "The Mayor of Broadway," this unique series returns this winter to The Broward Center for the Performing Arts' Parker Playhouse with three new concert dates for the 2016-17 season produced by Mark Cortale. Kicking off the season is Broadway's Gavin Creel, Olivier Award Winning star "The Book of Mormon and star of "She Loves Me" performing on December 30 at 8:00 PM, immediately prior to his return to Broadway where he will co-star with Bette Midler in "Hello Dolly!." He is followed by Matthew Morrison, who has been nominated for a Tony Award for "Light in the Piazza" and Emmy and Golden Globe Awards for his starring role in the hit TV series "Glee" on February 17, 2017 at 8:00 PM, and comedy legend Andrea Martin, star of TV's SCTV and two-time Tony Award winner for the Broadway revival of "Pippin" and "My Favorite Year," on April 1, 2017 at 8:00 PM. 

The ABC Television Network will air THE SOUND OF MUSIC, the Rodgers & Hammerstein cinematic treasure, on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 18 (7:00-11:00 p.m. EST).

A founding resident company of The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia (COP) will perform music by Rossini and Gounod, premiere a new arrangement by New Jersey composer, Raphael Fusco and present the U.S. premiere of Stories for piano and orchestra by French-Lebanese pianist and rising-star composer Rami Khalife.

The stars will continue to shine on New Orleans this season. RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA, the 2013 Tony Award-winning Broadway musical from the creators of The King & I and The Sound of Music, will play Clowes Memorial Hall for a limited engagement from November 15-20.

A beautiful transformation takes place on stage at the Broad Brook Opera House in the Opera House Players' solid, beautifully presented production of the classic Lerner and Loewe musical, MY FAIR LADY. A classic such as this one requires love and care to ensure that audiences experience all the things they might expect (classic songs, familiar characters and settings) but in a way that feels fresh, new, and exciting. And in this production, the Opera House Players have done just that.

Award-winning Chicago dynamo Angela Ingersoll rings in the holiday season with her fun and festive one-woman-show The 12 Dames of Christmas at the Elgin Community College Arts Center.  Backed by a stellar band, Ingersoll takes audiences on a hilarious and heartwarming journey through the holiday songbook as she applies her impressively versatile voice to holiday classics by twelve legendary songstresses.  The 12 Dames of Christmas will be performed at the ECC Arts Center's Blizzard Theatre, 1700 Spartan Drive in Elgin on Saturday, December 10 at 7 p.m.

Opera Australia's Lyndon Terracini and John Frost are thrilled to announce that Lerner & Loewe's My Fair Lady directed by Julie Andrews will return to Sydney on Sunday August 27, 2017 following seasons in Brisbane and Melbourne.

The Musical Theater Project will produce "Almost Like Being in Love: The Songs of Lerner and Loewe" on Sunday, November 20 (2pm) at the Hanna Theater at Playhouse Square.
