Yesterday, November 13, 2013 as the Rockettes kicked off the 2013 Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Opening night honored the Garden of Dreams Foundation, a non-profit charity that works closely with all areas of The Madison Square Garden Company to make dreams come true for children facing obstacles. The evening began with an exclusive, pre-show reception for children and families from the Garden of Dreams Foundation, and was hosted by Al Roker and Jill Martin. Yesterday, the Garden of Dreams Foundation and the New York-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital unveiled the refurbishments in the Children's Diagnostic Radiology Center made possible by a grant from Garden of Dreams. Celebrities including the Rockettes, John Starks, Rod Gilbert, Adam Graves, Darryl 'DMC' McDaniels joined patients and Hospital staff for the ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate and unveil the new corridor.
