Diane Phelan Joins THE DIAMOND AS BIG AS THE RITZ Industry Reading

With the addition of Diane Phelan (The King and I, Here Lies Love), casting is complete for the staged reading of F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Diamond as Big as The Ritz, (www.theritzmusical.com) at 7pm, Today, November 9and 1PM Friday, November 10 at the Dramatists Guild Fund's The Music Hall, 356 W. 40th St., 2nd Floor.

Monica Bill Barnes & Co's ONE NIGHT ONLY Sets Dates, Tickets Now On Sale

Tuesday, August 8, 2017) Tickets are now on sale for the first production of WP Theater's 40th Anniversary Season, the world premiere of One Night Only (running as long as we can) by Monica Bill Barnes & Company (The Museum Workout; Three Acts, Two Dancers, One Radio Host with Ira Glass), produced in association with New Neighborhood. The show begins performances at WP Theater (2162 Broadway) on Saturday, September 9 with opening night set for Tuesday, September 19.

Rock Musical BAGHDADDY to Open Next Week at St. Luke's

A friendly reminder! The well reviewed, NY Times Critic's  Pick Baghdaddy (formerly known as, Who's Your Baghdaddy?) by Marshall Pailet  and A.D. Penedo has returned to NYC and will open on Monday, May 1, 2017, for an initial run thrugh June 18, 2017 at St. Luke's Theatre (308 West 46th Street).

WP Theater (formerly Women's Project Theater), under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Lisa McNulty and Managing Director Michael Sag, has announced WP Theater's 32nd Annual Gala, honoring game-changing women with the Women of Achievement Awards. The gala will honor Emmy Award-winning actress and activist Debra Messing ('Will & Grace,' Outside Mullingar) and trailblazing media executive, President of BBC Worldwide North America, Ann M. Sarnoff.

BAGHDADDY to Return Off-Broadway This April

Ars Nova and WP Theater Present SUNDOWN, YELLOW MOON

Ars Nova and WP Theater are pleased to present the world premiere of Sundown, Yellow Moon (February 28-April 1), a nighttime play, with songs, by Rachel Bonds, directed by Anne Kauffman (OBIE and Drama Desk Award winner), with songs by the indie-folk duo The Bengsons (Hundred Days) and additional lyrics by Bonds.
