Tonight, May 23, join the company of Godspell on Broadway as they celebrate their Academy Award-winning writer Stephen Schwartz in a one-night-only concert. Expect songs from Schwartz projects like Pippin, Wicked, The Baker's Wife, The Magic Show, Working, My Son Pinocchio, Children of Eden, Rags, "Pocahontas", "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", "The Prince of Egypt", "Enchanted" and more.

Following an afternoon of open-call auditions for kids last month in which more than 500 kids (ages six to 16) were seen, the creative and producing team of GODSPELL selected five boys and five girls (plus one 'swing') to perform a special encore number at the curtain call on Tuesday, May 22. Hollywood-turned-Broadway actress Anna Maria Perez de Tagle's "Godspell" co-stars, showbiz friends, and fans turned out in full force at her recent benefit concert held on board the Hornblower Hybrid, which - aside from the audience enjoying De Tagle and her buddies' wide repertoire - treated the crowd to breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty.

Anna Maria Perez de Tagle and George Salazar, Filipino actors and singers who are making their Broadway debuts in the current production of GODSPELL, and the rest of the show's cast were in full force to welcome the Filipino-American press, and Filipino-American TV and film actor Sam Milby, at a cocktail reception at Bambo 52 sushi bar and lounge in New York City, on Thursday, March 15, followed by an evening performance of GODSPELL at Circle in the Square Theatre, and a post-show talk back with KABABAYAN LA's Janelle So.

Earlier this week, Two Boots Pizza in Hell's Kitchen (9th Ave. and 44th St.) unveiled their new pizza inspired by GODSPELL. The GODSPELL pizza contains casear chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted garlic and jalapeño pesto on a white pie. The first BROADWAY BALLYHOO devoted exclusively to the singers from one Broadway show features three of the stars from GODSPELL: Morgan James, Telly Leung, and Julia Mattison. They will perform an evening of all Broadway show tunes, including a sampling from their hit show, on March 1st at 11pm.
