For generations, musical theatre writers have come to New York City to change the world. 'Once Upon A Time In New York City' is about the people who have changed THEM. This concert will feature musical theatre writers-ages 19 to 90-who were born everywhere from Kansas City to San Francisco to Montreal, established and emerging, each writing a song about someone who has changed their idea of New York City. The concert will benefit The Actors Fund.

BroadwayUnderstudies.com's 'Half Hour: A Last Minute Concert' took place on August 19th, 2012, featuring some of Broadway's most talented understudies onstage at the Laurie Beechman Theatre sharing their rare talent-the ability to perform at a second's notice. Tonight, August 19th at 7pm, BroadwayUnderstudies.com has invited some of Broadway's most talented understudies to the stage of the Laurie Beechman Theatre to share their rare talent-the ability to perform at a second's notice. The audience will get to vote on what song each performer will sing, and they wont find out the results until they step up to the microphone.

The lineup includes Allison Blackwell (Porgy & Bess), Garett Hawe (Newsies), Carly Hughes (Ghost), Stephen Mark Lukas (Book of Mormon), Corey Mach (Godspell), Matthew Marks (Book of Mormon), Julia Mattison (Godspell), Jack Scott (Newsies), Julius Thomas III (Porgy & Bess), and Laurie Veldheer (Newsies), and more! On Monday September 17, Broadway stars will unite to sing the songs of a music legend in 'Broadway Sings Michael Jackson' at Le Poisson Rouge. The concert, which will feature some of Jackson's biggest hits, will be held at 9:30 PM.

The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, along with the City of New York and the United States Navy, celebrates the 25th annual Fleet Week, now through May 28, 2012. Fleet Week is America's premier tribute and "thank you" to the men and women who serve in the armed forces. As part of the festivities, Peter and the Starcatcher's Teddy Bergman and Greg Hildrethof hosted a Fleet Week Broadway showcase, featuring performers from Anything Goes, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, Memphis, Ghost, Sister Act, Godspell, Chicago and Rock of Ages. Following an afternoon of open-call auditions for kids last month in which more than 500 kids (ages six to 16) were seen, the creative and producing team of GODSPELL selected five boys and five girls (plus one 'swing') to perform a special encore number at the curtain call on Tuesday, May 22.
