Gary Cole (DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, TRUE BLOOD) has officially joined the second season of VEEP, for a major character arc, Deadline learned tonight.

Kevin Dunn to Join the Cast of HBO Comedy VEEP

Deadline reports that Kevin Dunn will have a recurring role on HBO's comedy series VEEP starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus. The actor will portray Ben, described as 'the President's Chief of Staff. Pragmatic and no-nonsense, Ben finds himself unable to navigate the all-spin-all-the-time world of Washington politics.'

The Second City DYSFUNCTIONAL HOLIDAY REVUE Comes to Marcus Center, 12/6-16

The Marcus Center has announced that Chicago's legendary comedy theatre The Second City will appear at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts-Vogel Hall at 123 East State St on December 6-16. The Second City's Dysfunctional Holiday Revue delivers a healthy dose of seasonal satire where neither holiday film classics, family gatherings nor Christmas carols are too sacred for a show that is the perfect alternative to the same old holiday shows.

Award-winning actors Roger Bart, Anna Chlumsky and Raul Esparza will guest star on an upcoming episode of "Law & Order: SVU." The episode, titled "Twenty-Five Acts" will air next fall and centers on the author of a best-selling erotic novel (Chlumsky) who accuses a high-profile talk show host (Bart) of a brutal rape. The SVU detectives face an uphill battle when they find that her account of the rape is exactly like the chapters in her book, and along with the DA's office (Esparza), they struggle to keep the case from turning into a media circus.
