Irish Repertory Theatre has announced full casting for the New York Premiere of Brian Friel's THE HOME PLACE.

Irish Repertory Theatre announced today that their Fall 2017 Mainstage production will be the New York Premiere of Brian Friel's THE HOME PLACE. Directed by Charlotte Moore (Finian's Rainbow), THE HOME PLACE will begin performances in Fall 2017 on the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage at Irish Rep Theatre (132 West 22nd Street).  

Irish Repertory Theatre announced today an extension for the US premiere of THE ARAN ISLANDS, by John Millington Synge (The Playboy of the Western World). Adapted, and directed by Joe O'Byrne (Frank Pig Says Hello).

Featuring an introduction by Special Guest Angela Lansbury, SONDHEIM AT SEVEN honored Carmine D. Boccuzzi, Jr., Partner at Cleary Gottlieb LLP, and recognized the extraordinary contributions of Anne Anderson, Ambassador of Ireland to the United States; Barbara Jones, Consul General of Ireland in New York; and David Donoghue, Ambassador of Ireland to the United Nations.

Irish Repertory Theatre has announced more performers for SONDHEIM AT SEVEN, this season's Gala Benefit production, on Tuesday, June 13th at 7 PM at The Town Hall (123 West 43rd Street, NYC).

Featuring a full orchestra and chorus under the direction of John Bell, performers for the evening include Nancy Anderson, Melissa Errico, Mark Evans, Danielle Ferland, Malcolm Gets, Jeremy Jordan, Rebecca Luker  Howard McGillin, Ryan Silverman and Max Von Essen, plus more to be announced and special surprise guests!

Greenburger Mainstage, and officially opened on March 12, 2017.

Kennedy Academy for Health Careers took first place on Monday, January 30, 2017 with her performance as Black Mary from Gem of the Ocean at the Boston Regional Finals of the August Wilson Monologue Competition, held for the seventh year by the Education Department of the Huntington Theatre Company, the playwright's longtime artistic home.
