Flat Rock Playhouse's presentation of CHASING RAINBOWS: THE ROAD TO OZ world premiere will chronicles the life of a young Judy Garland. This exciting new musical explores her extraordinary journey from vaudeville to Hollywood to stardom which culminated in one of the most popular films of all time, THE WIZARD OF OZ. Tonight, November 3, Britain's award-winning diva makes her US debut in 'Diva Breakdown' at Martinis Above Fourth. Although La Voix hasn't performed in the US, she's well-known to American audiences from her many performances on Atlantis Cruises and in London. 'Diva Breakdown' will explore the minds of true legends; Judy Garland, Liza Minnelli, Shirley Bassey, Tina Turner, Cher and more analyzed, exposed, and satirically delivered, in her own spine-tingling vocals, by the international red-headed diva, La Voix. The Crazy Coqs has announced a month of November glamour at London's most luxurious live entertainment venue. 

The New Group presents the world premiere of STEVE, a new play by Mark Gerrard. Directed by Cynthia Nixon, this production features Ashlie Atkinson and Francisco Pryor Garat, and as announced, Mario Cantone, Jerry Dixon, Malcolm Gets and Matt McGrath. A limited Off-Broadway engagement plays tonight, November 3, through December 27 at The Pershing Square Signature Center (The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre, 480 West 42nd Street), with Official Opening Night set for Wednesday, November 18.

The Fred Ebb Foundation in association with the Roundabout Theatre Company will present the eleventh annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters to Stacey Luftig and Phillip Palmer.  The award, named in honor of the late award-winning lyricist Fred Ebb, will be presented by Karen Ziemba on Monday, November 30th from 6-8pm at a by-invitation-only ceremony in the Penthouse Lounge of The American Airlines Theater.

The Off-Broadway premiere of Jerry Mayer's new comedy, 2 Across, will begin a open-ended engagement on Saturday November 14th at St. Luke's Theatre (308 West 46th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues). Emmy Award nominee Evelyn Rudie ('Eloise') directs a cast that stars Andrea McArdle and Kip Gilman. Opening Night is set for December 9th.
