With nine Tony Award nominations under its belt, SOMETHING ROTTEN! closed on Broadway on January 1, 2017, and barely took a breather before hitting the road with three of its principal players reprising their roles. Director/choreographer Casey Nicholaw brings Rob McClure, Adam Pascal, and Josh Grisetti on the National Tour that launches in Boston at the Opera House.

When scheduling an interview with Broadway and now West End star: Marisha Wallace, I was quickly reminded that London is five hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time, so when we found an appointment that was congruently free; it was a little early for me... Flash forward to a 7am interview that started my day on the highest of notes: Marisha's bubbly and down to earth personality drew me in the first moment I saw her perform in the hit musical 'Something Rotten!'

The new Eccles Theater is currently serving as the temporary home for the national tour of KINKY BOOTS--a heartfelt exploration of family and friendship. Effie might indeed be going... to Broadway. According to the New York Post, London producer Sonia Friedman is already looking for a Broadway Theater to transfer the West End production, which has been bringing audiences to their feet nightly.

Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today that Bring It On star Taylor Louderman will return to Broadway this winter, joining the Broadway company of Kinky Boots as 'Lauren' in the Tony Award-winning musical, beginning January 16, 2016.

Producers of the West End revival of DREAMGIRLS turned to Twitter today to announce that Amber Riley, who has missed the last several performances of the show, has been diagnosed with pneumonia.

Kinky Boots, the smash-hit musical that brings together four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Tony Award-winner for Best Score for Kinky Boots), will perform a limited engagement at San Jose's Center for the Performing Arts (255 Almaden Blvd.) January 24-29, 2017.

Disney Theatrical Productions and Broadway In Chicago announced today that tickets for the long-awaited engagement of Disney's Aladdin will go on sale to the public on Monday, December 5.  The hit Broadway musical will launch its North American tour in Chicago at the Cadillac Palace Theatre with performances beginning on Tuesday, April 11, 2017.
