As BWW just announced, the highly anticipated stage adaptation of MEAN GIRLS will begin previews next spring on March 12 and open April 8 at the August Wilson Theater. Today, Tina Fey turned to Twitter to share her excitement over the Broadway-bound production.

Mean Girls, the new musical produced by Lorne Michaels, Stuart Thompson and Paramount Pictures based on the hit film, will open on Broadway this Spring at the August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52nd Street).

Casting has been announced for the Minnesota premiere of Disney's ALADDIN which launches the 2017-2018 Bank of America Broadway on Hennepin Season for a limited four week engagement Friday, Sept. 15-Sunday, Oct. 8 at the historic Orpheum Theatre (910 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis).

The completely original new musical SOMETHING ROTTEN!, directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw (THE BOOK OF MORMON, ALADDIN), with music and lyrics by GRAMMY Award winner and Tony Award nominee Wayne Kirkpatrick and Golden Globe Award and Tony Award nominee Karey Kirkpatrick and a book by Tony Award nominees Karey Kirkpatrick and best-selling author John O'Farrell, opens at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts Aug. 8 - 13, 2017.

Alternative Press is reporting that the cast of Kinky Boots is currently running an online auction of collectibles and fan experiences to raise money for Eric L. Summers who is currently battling cancer. All proceeds will go towards his medical bills.

Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today that Tony Award winner Billy Porter (whose recent studio album: Billy Porter Presents The Soul of Richard Rodgers debuted at #2 on the iTunes R&B charts) and Tony Award nominee Stark Sands (who appears alongside Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks in Spielberg's upcoming The Papers) will return to Kinky Boots this fall.

The completely original new musical Something Rotten! brings its rib-tickling North American tour to Starlight Theatre for six performances July 25-30.

The National Tour of Aladdin proudly celebrated their 100th performance in Chicago.
