THE BOOK OF MORMON's Josh Gad will guest star in the next episode of 'Modern Family,' entitled 'Punkin Chunkin' and airing Wednesday, November 23 (9:00 PM ET) on the ABC Television Network.

ABC comedies will celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with an array of guest stars including Marsha Mason, Molly Shannon, Jerry Van Dyke, Norm Macdonald ('The Middle,'), Jay Mohr ('Suburgatory), Josh Gad ('Modern Family').

THE BOOK OF MORMON features book, music and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone. The production is choreographed by Casey Nicholaw and is directed by Nicholaw and Parker. According to the Hollywood Reporter, O.C. alum Adam Brody is set to be a part of MTV's animated series GOOD VIBES.

With wife Kristen Anderson-Lopez, Robert Lopez has written Finding Nemo The Musical and songs for Winnie the Pooh (Disney feature animation, 2011). Today BroadwayWorld has confirmed that the pair are continuing work on another collaboration - UP HERE, an original musical.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, NBC has just picked up a new comedy pilot from Tony nominee Josh Gad. Titled 1600 Penn, the pilot is about 'a dysfunctional family that just happens to live at the most famous address in America.' Gad will executive produce the project along with Jon Lovett and Jason Winer.
