Shattered Globe to Stage THE GROWN-UP at Theater Wit, 4/9-5/23

On the heels of its critically-acclaimed, sold-out production of The Rose Tattoo, Shattered Globe Theatre is pleased to conclude its 2014-15 season with the Chicago premiere of Jordan Harrison's hilarious kick in the heart, THE GROWN-UP, directed by Krissy Vanderwarker, playing April 9 - May 23, 2015 at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont Ave. in Chicago. Shattered Globe will stage the second ever production of Harrison's new play, which debuted last year at Actors Theatre of Louisville's Humana Festival. Non-Equity Jeff Awards are Announced

The Jeff Awards Committee today announced 128 nominations in 24 categories of Non-Equity Jeff Awards for productions that opened between April 1, 2013, and March 31, 2014. The Non-Equity Awards honor excellence in Chicago theatres not under a union contract. Jeff judges attended opening nights of 147 productions offered by 65 Non-Equity producing organizations. The judges recommended 66 of those shows, making them eligible for Non-Equity Jeff Award nominations. Thirty theatre companies received nominations.

BareBones Theatre Group is presenting this as a co-production with Interrobang Theatre Project, and will merge together for the 2013-14 season. Founder and Artistic Director of BareBones Theatre Group and co-Artistic Director of Interrobang Theatre Project James Yost directs 'Orange Flower Water' running Thursday through Saturdays and 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3:30 p.m. until June 9.
