On March 30, at 3:00 pm, Newnan's Masterworks Chorale marks ten years of excellence with "A Celebration of Music and Community" at the Centre for the Performing and Visual Arts. The highlight of the concert will be a classical work, Franz Schubert's "Mass in G." Guest artists Emily Budd and Greg Hucks will sing the soprano and baritone solos while Masterworks' own L.C. Lane will perform the tenor solos.
“La Boheme', Giacomo Puccini's renowned lyrical opera, will be presented in fully staged production by the Golden Rose Opera Works on Sunday , March 23, 2014 in the Lower Church Hall of Our Lady of Mercy Church, Forest Hills, NY . The show begins at 2:30 PM. All are invited. The production is the first for the newly formed musical organization, and features a cast with professional operatic stage experience.

This stirring evening of music will feature Karl Jenkins' harp concerto Over the Stone, conducted by DCINY Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Jonathan Griffith; Haydn's joyous St. Nicholas Mass and Joseph Martin's The Awakening, conducted by Richard W. Weymuth; a special appearance by the acclaimed New York choral group KHORIKOS; and a selection of Welsh folksongs performed by Terfel and Finch.
