Help Is On The Way Today was founded by Cabaret Producer Joseph Macchia and is a non for profit that helps children and teens living with HIV and AIDS In New York City living with HIV and AIDS. Since its start 7 years ago Cabaret Cares had raised over $74,000. The series was also honored with Three MAC Awards and a Bistro Award.

The evening features songs like What Kind Of Fool Am I, Mr. Booze, Sway, and many more. The evenring is a tribute to Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. This show is not an impersonation show just laid back evening celebrating the Rat Pack.

Now it's time for all you cabaret performers and fans to vote for the best singers, musicians and shows of the year. Each performer has a four-song set and pairs up for duets and group numbers. The fabulous musical director Tracy Stark heads the evening. Performing tonight, Spetember 10th at 7 p.m. will be Kwame Remy, Marissa Rosen, Zoie Morris and Antuan Raimone. Doors open at 6:15 p.m.

Cabaret show producer Joseph Macchia (who is also a host at the Metropolitan Room) will be staging a second presentation of "Boys Night Out: The Music of the Rat Pack" at the Met Room on August 6 (9:30 pm), which will give him a month to work out the kinks after the show's somewhat shaky opening at the Met Room on June 18.

New York's Metropolitan Room is accepting applications for this year's 2012 "MetroStar Talent Challenge" through June 30. The jury and audience-voted, elimination-round singers competition runs for seven consecutive Mondays, from July 9 through August 20. Marissa Mulder is the current MetroStar.
