In and Out of the Studio: Photographic Portraits from West Africa presents 100 years of portrait photography in West Africa through nearly 80 photographs taken between the 1870s and the 1970s. These works, many of which are being shown for the first time, are drawn from the Metropolitan Museum's Visual Resource Archives in the Department of Africa, Oceania, and the Americas, with additions from the Department of Photographs.

Whilst many may have come to see DAVID CAMPBELL SINGS JOHN BUCCHINO based on David Campbell's local profile, the audience was treated to a wonderful insight into the man behind the music, the award winning, John Bucchino. The show was very much Bucchino's story and Campbell was the voice for the music. It was a delight to see these long-time friends partner for this show and their album, also called, DAVID CAMPBELL SINGS JOHN BUCCHINO.
The best cabaret hurts your heart a little, it tells you something about life, and love. This, then, is cabaret at its finest. Bucchino's songs are beautifully detailed accounts of his life - of love affairs, and mistakes, and risks taken - essentially, all the things worth singing about.
